Experience
Since this module was an extension of the previous DRM module, I initially felt prepared and had a general idea of what to expect. However, I was not satisfied with the outcome of my earlier DRM, which meant that several revisions were necessary. With Mr. Mike’s guidance, I was able to refine and improve the content of the paper. This support helped me strengthen the overall quality of my work and allowed me to move forward confidently with the remaining tasks.
Observation
I think that one of the most important lessons I learned during this module was the value of consistency. The weekly consultations and clearly set deadlines helped me stay on track and manage my time effectively. By working on the task a little each day, I was able to complete everything on time without feeling rushed or overwhelmed.
Findings
Having an existing research foundation provided clearer direction, but expanding it into a full dissertation challenged me to think more deeply and critically about my analysis. Additionally, I learned that UI design is an extremely important component of games; without an effective UI, players are unlikely to fully enjoy or engage with the experience.
